Workplace Policy

Standards, rights, and responsibilities for everyone who works with rBloxk — employees, contractors, interns, and institutional partners in our ecosystem.

Last updated: June 2026

This Workplace Policy supplements our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and applicable employment or contractor agreements. Where local law provides greater protections, local law applies.

1. Purpose and scope

rBloxk is committed to a workplace where people can do their best work with dignity, psychological safety, and mutual respect. This policy applies to:

  • Full-time and part-time employees of rBloxk Inc. and its affiliates
  • Contractors, consultants, and temporary staff engaged by rBloxk
  • Interns, fellows, and participants in rBloxk League or partner programs when acting on our behalf
  • Leadership, people managers, and individual contributors at all levels

It covers conduct in offices, at company events, in digital workspaces (Slack, email, video calls, code repositories), and anywhere you represent rBloxk to customers, partners, or the public.

2. Equal opportunity and non-discrimination

rBloxk provides equal employment and engagement opportunities without regard to race, color, ethnicity, national origin, religion, age, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, marital or parental status, disability, veteran status, caste, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.

We do not tolerate discrimination in:

  • Recruiting, hiring, compensation, promotion, or termination
  • Assignment of work, performance evaluation, or access to training
  • Selection for rBloxk League tasks, internships, or partner programs
  • Day-to-day treatment, communication, or access to tools and resources

Reasonable accommodations are available for qualified individuals with disabilities or sincerely held religious practices, consistent with business needs and local law. Requests should be directed to people@rbloxk.com.

3. Anti-harassment and bullying

Harassment is unwelcome conduct that creates an intimidating, hostile, or offensive work environment or that is used as a basis for employment decisions. Bullying is repeated mistreatment that humiliates, intimidates, or undermines a person's work.

Prohibited conduct includes, without limitation:

  • Slurs, stereotypes, jokes, or imagery targeting protected characteristics
  • Unwelcome sexual attention, advances, or quid pro quo requests
  • Threats, intimidation, stalking, or physical violence
  • Deliberate exclusion, sabotage, or public humiliation of colleagues
  • Retaliation against anyone who reports concerns or participates in an investigation

Consensual relationships between a manager and direct report are discouraged; where they exist, rBloxk may require disclosure and reassignment to avoid conflicts of interest.

4. Workplace conduct and professional ethics

Everyone at rBloxk is expected to:

  • Act with honesty, integrity, and accountability
  • Treat colleagues, users, and partners with respect
  • Follow applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Deliver commitments or communicate early when unable to do so
  • Escalate risks, security issues, and ethical concerns promptly

Prohibited conduct includes:

  • Fraud, theft, falsification of records, or misrepresentation to users or regulators
  • Working under the influence of illegal drugs or alcohol in a way that impairs judgment or safety
  • Violence, weapons on company premises where prohibited by law or policy
  • Bribery, improper gifts, or facilitation payments to public officials or customers
  • Abuse of administrative access, credentials, or customer data

5. Health, safety, and wellbeing

rBloxk maintains a duty of care for physical and psychological safety. You must follow applicable health and safety rules, report hazards, and participate in required training.

  • Emergencies: follow local evacuation and first-aid procedures; call emergency services when needed
  • Ergonomic and remote setups: use equipment responsibly; request support for reasonable workspace needs
  • Wellbeing: take breaks, manage workload sustainably, and use available leave; managers should not normalize burnout
  • Substance use: prescription medication used as directed is permitted; impairment that affects work or safety is not

If you feel unsafe at work or at a company event, leave if you can do so safely and contact people@rbloxk.com or local emergency services.

6. Remote, hybrid, and flexible work

rBloxk operates as a distributed technology company. Unless your role requires on-site presence, you may work remotely subject to team agreements and local law.

  • Maintain reliable internet, a private workspace for confidential calls, and secure devices
  • Use company-approved authentication (including passkeys where offered) and encrypt sensitive data
  • Be reachable during agreed core hours and attend scheduled meetings
  • Do not perform rBloxk work from jurisdictions that violate export, sanctions, or employment restrictions without written approval
  • Travel for work requires manager approval and compliance with visa and tax obligations

7. Hours, attendance, and leave

Working hours and leave entitlements depend on your employment or contractor agreement and local law. Unless stated otherwise in your contract:

  • Record time and absences accurately as required by your manager or payroll system
  • Request leave in advance where possible; notify your manager promptly for illness or emergencies
  • Paid and unpaid leave types (annual, sick, parental, bereavement, etc.) are described in offer letters or local addenda
  • Public holidays follow the schedule applicable to your work location or entity

rBloxk does not penalize lawful use of leave. Retaliation for taking approved leave is prohibited.

8. Compensation, benefits, and expenses

Pay, equity, bonuses, and benefits are governed by your written agreement and applicable plans. To protect fairness and compliance:

  • Compensation discussions among peers are permitted where local law allows; managers must not discourage lawful pay transparency
  • Expense reimbursements require pre-approval for large purchases and valid receipts per the expense policy shared with you
  • Company funds and cards may be used only for legitimate business purposes
  • Referral, League, or partner commissions follow published program rules and tax reporting requirements

9. Confidentiality and data protection

You may access confidential information about rBloxk, our users, partners, and colleagues. You must protect it during and after your engagement.

  • Do not disclose non-public product plans, financial data, security findings, or personal data without authorization
  • Follow least-privilege access; do not share credentials or bypass security controls
  • Handle personal data in line with our Privacy Policy and User Data and Safety practices
  • Report suspected data breaches immediately to security@rbloxk.com

Confidentiality obligations survive termination of your engagement to the extent permitted by law and your agreement.

10. Intellectual property and inventions

Work product created in the scope of your engagement with rBloxk — including software, designs, documentation, marketing assets, and inventions — is owned by rBloxk or assigned to rBloxk as stated in your agreement.

  • Use open-source components in compliance with their licenses and our engineering guidelines
  • Do not incorporate third-party code or content without proper license or permission
  • Disclose side projects that may overlap with rBloxk business before using company time or resources
  • Personal projects on your own time and equipment, without rBloxk confidential information, remain yours subject to your contract

11. Conflicts of interest

A conflict of interest exists when personal interests could improperly influence business decisions. You must avoid and disclose situations such as:

  • Financial interest in a competitor, vendor, or customer you influence
  • Hiring or managing a close relative or romantic partner without disclosure
  • Outside employment that competes with or materially interferes with rBloxk duties
  • Accepting gifts, entertainment, or payments that could appear to sway judgment

Disclose potential conflicts to your manager and people@rbloxk.com before acting. rBloxk may require mitigation, reassignment, or divestiture.

12. Company systems and communications

Company systems (email, chat, code hosts, cloud consoles, and devices) are provided for business use. rBloxk may monitor and log usage as permitted by law and notice in your jurisdiction.

  • Do not install unapproved software that introduces malware or exfiltrates data
  • Public statements about rBloxk products, financials, or legal matters require approval from leadership or communications
  • Social media: identify personal opinions as your own; do not share confidential information
  • Users and candidates deserve respectful, inclusive language in all channels

13. Reporting concerns and whistleblower protection

If you experience or witness conduct that violates this policy, report it promptly. You may raise concerns through any of these channels:

Reports are handled confidentially to the extent possible. rBloxk prohibits retaliation against anyone who reports in good faith or assists an investigation, even if the concern is not substantiated. Knowingly false reports intended to harm others may result in discipline.

14. Investigations and disciplinary action

rBloxk investigates reported violations fairly and promptly. Investigations may include interviews, document review, and access-log analysis. Participants must cooperate truthfully.

Corrective action depends on severity, history, and law, and may include:

  • Coaching, training, or written warning
  • Performance improvement plan or role change
  • Suspension with or without pay where permitted
  • Termination of employment or contractor engagement
  • Referral to law enforcement where appropriate

Serious misconduct — including violence, harassment, theft, or deliberate data breach — may result in immediate termination.

15. Internships, rBloxk League, and contractors

Participants in internships, rBloxk League, institution partner programs, or short-term contracts are expected to follow this policy while performing work for or on behalf of rBloxk.

  • League ambassadors and institution coordinators must represent products honestly and respect user privacy
  • Interns and fellows receive onboarding on conduct, security, and confidentiality before accessing systems
  • Contractors must flow down equivalent obligations to their personnel where they manage others
  • Program-specific rules in offer letters, League docs, or partner agreements supplement this policy

See open roles at rbloxk.com/jobs and League information in the rBloxk League dashboard.

16. Policy updates

rBloxk may update this Workplace Policy to reflect legal, operational, or cultural changes. Material updates will be communicated through internal channels and, where appropriate, published on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued work with rBloxk after notice constitutes acknowledgment unless local law requires explicit consent.
